ABOUT US
AK Interiors is an interior architecture studio based in Accra, Ghana and Istanbul, Turkiye. We work across residential and hospitality projects — from spatial planning and material selection through to full project execution.
The practice was founded by Aysenur Karatas, who splits her time between Accra and Istanbul. That dual context shapes how we work: an eye trained across different design cultures, applied to spaces that are distinctly local.

WHAT WE DO
Every project starts the same way — with the space as it actually is, and the client as they actually live. From there we work through concept development, technical drawings, 3D visualization, and on-site coordination until the space is finished.
We handle supplier sourcing across Ghana, Turkey, China, Italy and beyond, which means we can work at different scales and budgets without compromising on the quality of what goes into a room.
The work is end-to-end. We stay involved from the first conversation to the final installation.
